The flower is not a stimulate or a depressant and has a plethora of health benefits, including increased cognitive function, improved gut microbiome, heightened focus and creativity, reduced anxiety and improved reproductive health. Suggested preparation:
Hot brew
- Bring 1-1.5 cups of water to a boil
- Remove heat and let stand for 1-1.5 min (this is critical to not burn the flower)
- Add tea, steep for 10 minutes
- Add your favorite creamer/sweetener and enjoy
Cold brew
- Add 1.5-2 cups cold water per tea bag to pitcher
- Refrigerate pitcher, steep for at least 8-12 hours
- Add your favorite creamer/sweetener and enjoy over ice

The Egyptian Blue Lotus plant is notoriously difficult to identify, and several plants in the Nymphaea genus do have compounds that are harmful to humans. This is why we have every batch tested by an independent lab to verify it is authentic and safe for human consumption.
